Toronto Jazz Academy Orchestra & TJAO Junior Jazz

Established in 2021 the Toronto Jazz Academy is meant to be a meeting place for students who enjoy playing and learning about the great traditions of jazz music!

Under the direction of a passionate faculty, students will focus on the fundamentals of their instrument, ensemble skills, improvisation and theory. 

We are firm believers that the study of music has proven to  help develop all the important functions in children including: creativity, memory work and helping to create happy and motivated children.

Over the course of the year students will have the opportunity to attend 

Masterclasses with guest artists.
